Our Mission
Jackson Right to Life, formerly Jackson Citizen's for Life, was incorporated in 1975 in response to the 1973 Supreme Court Decision legalizing abortion in the U.S. We strive to protect human life from fertilization to natural death by legal means of advocacy and education. We are a non-sectarian, non-partisan organization affiliated with Right to Life of Michigan. We strive to achieve the passage and ratification of a Human Life Amendment, to educate people on identified Right to Life issues, to motivate them to action, to encourage community support for the participation in programs and legislation that foster respect and protection for human life. We work on the behalf of defenseless or vulnerable human beings, born and unborn, within our identified life issues of abortion, infanticide, human embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia, and assisted suicide. With over one-thousand local members, we work to make abortion unthinkable and encourage respect for all human life.
