Stop Dismemberment Abortions

We have the unique opportunity to stop dismemberment abortions in Michigan through a citizen initiated petition drive. Please join us Monday, July 15th, 6pm-7pm at Queen's Church, 606 S. Wisner in the lower level of the church for an informational training on how to properly circulate petitions. There will be a Q & A time following the presentation.

Did You Know?

Abortion advocates often use a coat hanger to symbolize the "age of back-alley abortions" where women were forced to seek abortions from "unqualified butchers." The number of women who died from illegal "back-alley" abortions was often said to be in the thousands. However, according to the U.S. Bureau of Vital Statistics, there were only 39 women who died from illegal abortions in 1972.

Jackson Right to Life Offices

Our Mission

Jackson Right to Life, formerly Jackson Citizen's for Life, was incorporated in 1975 in response to the 1973 Supreme Court Decision legalizing abortion in the U.S. We strive to protect human life from fertilization to natural death by legal means of advocacy and education. We are a non-sectarian, non-partisan organization affiliated with Right to Life of Michigan. We strive to achieve the passage and ratification of a Human Life Amendment, to educate people on identified Right to Life issues, to motivate them to action, to encourage community support for the participation in programs and legislation that foster respect and protection for human life. We work on the behalf of defenseless or vulnerable human beings, born and unborn, within our identified life issues of abortion, infanticide and assisted suicide. With over one-thousand local members, we work to make abortion unthinkable and encourage respect for all human life.
