Jackson Right to Life, formerly Jackson Citizen’s for Life, was established in 1975 as a response to the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision legalizing abortion in 1973. At Jackson Right to Life, we believe that every human life is valuable and deserves protection from fertilization to natural death. We are a non-sectarian and non-partisan organization affiliated with Right to Life of Michigan, and our goal is to advocate for the protection of human life through legal means of advocacy and education.

Our primary objective is to achieve the passage and ratification of a Human Life Amendment. This would ensure that all human beings, regardless of age or circumstance, have the right to life protected by law. We also seek to educate the public on identified Right to Life issues, motivate them to action, and encourage community support for programs and legislation that foster respect and protection for human life.

At Jackson Right to Life, we work on behalf of the most vulnerable members of our society – defenseless or vulnerable human beings, both born and unborn. Our identified life issues include abortion, infanticide, human embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia, and assisted suicide. With over one-thousand local members, we strive to make abortion unthinkable and encourage respect for all human life.
